CASTrm is a scientific conference from students for students aiming at giving you a platform to present ideas and projects from your studies. We want to allow you to experience a real scientific conference and see how everything works: starting with the submission of your first draft, followed by a peer-review, tweaking your work until it’s ready and finally presenting it in front of all the conference attendees.

To help you with the poster and paper writing as well as with the presentations CASTrm offers all authors whose applications have been accepted trainings by professional advisors. They will teach you how to conduct proper research, what is important when writing a paper, and how to present your result in the end.

Additionally, CASTrm is focussed on inclusion and equality. We want to especially encourage women* and other groups underrepresented in Computer Science to pursue a scientific career. In particular we want to make sure that women* are represented at the conference appropriately and that there is a Code of Conduct. We will also offer various activities to make sure that the conference will be an open and friendly place for everybody who is interested.
